Project Overview

The Precinct brings together all justice and emergency services in one purpose-built, leading-edge precinct in central Christchurch. The Precinct, made up of three buildings - the Justice Building, the Emergency Services Building and a car park for operational vehicles is located in the Christchurch CBD. 

It is the largest multi-agency government co-location project in New Zelaland's history and the first major public building to be built and opened in Christchurch by the government since the earthquakes.

Due to this, Fletcher Construction and Electrix were searching for an innovative tried and tested way to achieve project installation certainty. 

Fletcher Construction electrical services team led an integrated approach with the key electrical service providers as stakeholders to develop an active process including: 

• Early engagement with key electrical services
• Collaborative team involving; consultant, technology providers, specialist manufacturers & contractors
• Services co-ordination workshops
• Designing and selecting fit-for-purpose solutions for best quality and performance outcome
• Managing collaborative services team with buy-in to deliver the solution.
