DECLARE a healthy future

Nexans New Zealand is participating in Declare, and our Envirolex® and Alsecure®  products hold a Red List Free Declare status from the International Living Future Institute™.

The International Living Future Institute™ is a global network dedicated to creating a healthy future through their initiatives which include Living Building Challenges and Declare, a database that is changing the materials marketplace for manufacturers, designers and developers.

Being Declare labelled means that our products are Red List free. The Red List is the worst in class ingredients in the building industry that pollutes the environment, bio-accumulates up the food chain until they reach toxic concentrations, and harm construction and factory workers.

Customers who specify for a green building project can now find us on the Declare website and learn where our products are manufactured, what they are made of and where they go at the end of life.
